Funny or not funny??

Personally I found is hilarious but I am an extreme dark comedy person

Not great during a pandemic where 40,000 people have died in the UK alone

Where is the fancy dress happening? We're still in lockdown

Well apparently we should all be wearing masks

A friend who's a nurse once dressed up as the Black Death (or the Great Mortality as it was called for several centuries) for our Christmas medieval themed party in the healthcare establishment where we all worked. (Yes, we ALL had a pretty dark sense of humour.) They didn't have a mask though, just a long black hooded tunic and appropriate make-up and plastic props....And yes, it was a LONG time before COVID-19....

The London one is not a teen. He's in his 40/50s. He's a history buff and lives locally.

I’d find funny in a dark way, but finding something “funny” doesn’t make it ok. It’s very bad taste when you know that people who’ve lost loved ones from Covid deaths are quite likely to encounter you as you as you walk down the street. It would be like dressing as Jimmy Saville in a children’s home or Harold Shipman in a residential home.

Ah right. Some individual wandering the street. Well, whatever floats their boat. It wouldn't upset me but I haven't lost a relative during this lockdown.

I saw one in Lincoln at the beginning of lockdown. I just assumed it was the only mask he owned and it would look even more weird without the rest of the outfit.

I don't personally find it offensive. Its highlighting the absurdity of the situation we're all in. Then again it's not particularly funny to me either it's more like: yeah why not, this might as well happen.

I wish I could see one where I live!!

Might be a chance that someone tries to board a bus in one next week.

They do look good quality etc though
