What will Keir Starmer ask do you think?

What would you like him to ask?

I would like him to ask about the chaos that seems to be test, track and trace, why the traffic light alert system seems to have been dropped, why the government ignored public health officials and scientists telling them it is too soon to relax the rules, why we have to have a dubious app, what they are going to do about the public losing trust and confidence in them (in general but especially after Dominic Cummings).

Did you miss the bit where Starmer whined/lied 'I wrote to you I haven't.. had.. a.. response..' Then Johnson said 'I rang you! We spoke on the phone'?

I would guess Starmer wants / expects a reply in writing, so that it remains on the record. A phone call then becomes a game of who said what, both sides can dispute it, and the public can't trust either. Which, cynically, I suspect appeals to the Tories if people just damn every politician rather than the ones responsible.

Apparently the call was a group call to all opposition leaders, not a one-to-one call in response to the letter, so they are pushing for a specific on the record response.

In which case he had plenty of witnesses. I'm not of course familiar with parliamentary etiquette but I imagine phone call follow ups are the norm. Starmer isn't in a court of law anymore, I wish someone would tell him, they won't get letters to keep for evidence for every query.

We are in the middle of a pandemic, the PM is busy and has more important things to do than write to petulant Starmer when they'd already clarified the issue by phone call.

If Black Lives Matter and BAME are more adversely affected than whites, why are all those young people congregating in Hyde Park, contrary to Government instructions not to meet up in groups of more than 6, so they can transmit and carry the disease back to their communities?
