So for those of us who have sent children back to school this week? How are we all feeling? Mine has gone back today and for the first time I've been able to do a proper days work from home which has been surprisingly rewarding.

I am a keyworker and managed up til now without school but sent my year 7 son back yesterday. He will go 3 days per week (I work part time) and he enjoyed it so much even though it's nothing like usual school. He got so much more of his online learning done - he said he feels more confident when teachers are around. Played table tennis at break and ate his lunch outside. It is a very small group and everyone follows the social distance rules so far. Happy with our decision for the moment ... Smile

@Techno56 that's great to hear. I've managed up until now and agonised over sending her back but wow she came home buzzing. So much better for her as an only child to be around other kids. She will do 3 days and was nearly crying when I said tomorrow she'll be home with me 🤣
