To have seen people's true colours during lockdown

Has anyone been surprised by the behaviour of people they thought they knew during this period of lockdown?

I'm actually astounded by the amount of hypocrisy around. For example, several work colleagues of mine have constantly gone on about how they've totally adhered during their periods of working from home/on furlough. Now we're back in the office it's all coming out now how they've been to other people's houses every weekend boozing and partying. One colleague had a birthday barbecue this weekend and posted picturea on her Facebook inches away from friends from different households.

I feel like I've totally lost respect for most of them.

It is the same as people who moan about the park and the beach being busy when they're there themselves.

There's a complete lack of self awareness in a lot of people. Either that or they just think they're special. Probably like Cummings.

Plenty of ableist pieces of shit and fat shamers too who I suspect have always held hateful view but now feel emboldened to voice them. A bit like some of the anti migrant hate after Brexit

I've seen a fair amount of hypocrisy amongst my circle some of which really hasn't surprised me. As far as I know, none of them have had Coronavirus so who's to say their actions are wrong. I hope they continue to stay healthy and have enjoyed their lockdown social activities. I just cringe at the Facebook posts and judge silently. At least i know who i could/couldnt trust if my life depended on them.
