Isolating

If you've potentially had / have Covid in the home, are those members of the family isolating from the other members of the family?

Looking for advice from those in similar situations. We have two members of our family currently awaiting Covid tests but struggling to keep them isolated in the home (DH and young DC isolating together) in one room, due to me having vulnerabilities (not shielding) this was advised by 111 to stay away from me and other DC.

Anyone got any advice of what they found worked in this situation?

Totally appreciate that it's possibly pointless at this stage as we may all have caught it already but want to try minimise the viral load if possible. We only have one bathroom too, but using separate towels, cutlery & plates.

Hoping to have Covid tests early this week, but then will need to wait for results to come back. So could be a good few days of trying to isolate from each other, or longer if they are positive.

I had a test today, it was easy to sort and loads of availability. When we got there we were pretty much the only ones. So hopefully you can get one quickly so at least you know. The wait for results is within 48 hours hopefully.

Thanks @Rainbowgravy unfortunately we don't have access to a car so can't get to any of the drive through tests, but we've got them coming in the post so hopefully be here soon.

Ah hopefully they will come quickly. It said you should get the results within 72 hours for postal tests.

Anyone else in a similar situation?

Got postal tests today but it's going to be Wednesday now that they're collected Sad so 4-5 days after symptoms started.

Just so you know I had my test yesterday and got my results today, thankfully negative, so it as a very efficient service. I hope the postal service is prompt for you.
