As a follow on to the soft play thread, I’m just wondering when playgroups and toddler groups might be allowed to open again?
I don’t want my 20 month old to completely forget how to socialise with other children.

I would love toddler groups to open soon. My 3 year old loves them and so do I. However as long as social distancing has to be followed, I just dont think it will be possible. Or they will have to severely limit the numbers. Our toddler group sometimes has 40 kids in one church which obviously wont be possible.

Fingers crossed they will be able to open by autumn/winter as it will be harder to entertain children as the weather starts to turn but to be honest I'm not that hopeful Sad

Not until schools are full time. Probably after September.

I'm torn as I want them to open for the routine and stimulation for my 14 month old twins - but in reality it will be a long time before I feel comfortable about going.

I recon September, though really they aren’t that dissimilar to nurseries. If they had a set number- space out the parents, clean equipment- no soft toys- it would be “fine”
