Thoughts on track and trace app?

Personally, i'm creeped out and won't be downloading it.

I haven't got anything against the downloading of it, but I think a lot of people will simply not bother. Truly expect the whole thing to be a complete shamble from what I've heard today.

Aren't we using a different app from the rest of the world? Does anybody know why? So far us going it differently hasn't gone so well.

Yes, on the IPhone / Google app, you keep your data, but I believe on the UK app, the data will be stored centrally and they're saying it will be kept for 20 years.

I had argued for downloading the app. But now, there's no way I'm downloading it. For a number of reasons,

The government has lost my trust. I just don't trust them anymore, not with my data and not what they say. I don't trust Cummings either. Wasn't he linked to Cambridge Analytica??

The company who has got the contract, is chaired by Dido Harding of Talk Talk. Which of course had a massive data breach when they were hacked by two teenagers.
