Hospitality sector may open earlier than July?

Apologies for the crappy source. This is the first I've heard of this. They're also looking at reviewing the 2m rule. I do feel like reducing it to 1m or 1.5 would make things a lot easier for businesses. I think I'm right in thinking that most countries that have the 1m/1.5 m rule have faired ok as they've eased lockdown, so hopefully it's safe.

I know many couldn't care less about pubs, but this would be good news for people working in this sector. Though I thought pubs required three weeks' notice to re-open so that may be tricky unless Bojo says something tomorrow Hmm

My parents will be so cross. They've just had loads of signs saying " please keep to 2m distancing" made for their hotel 😁 Seriously though i really hope this is true. We did see it somewhere earlier.

I would love pubs to reopen but I really don't see how they could do it safely.
