Best questions for MPs

I havent written yet, I fully expected some sort of apology or softener to be offered that would make it all blow over and I didn't want to send a furious outburst over the weekend that would look irrational by the time it was read.

However, I find I still have a number of questions I would like to hear my MP's opinions on.

For me, now, the issue is less about DC and his story and more about the government's handling of the affair. The initial response that was so appallingly handled, giving him the privilege of The Rose Garden (why?) and continuing to support him when so much damage is being done, both the to PM himself and to the public health message. Asking ministers to step up and defend the indefensible, which they are all finding difficult to do.

I'd like to know why he is so important.

I know I won't get a proper answer but I think it's important that "they" know these questions are being asked.

What have you asked?

I didn’t ‘ask’ anything. I wanted to register my disgust and both D.C. actions and the government and cabinet’s handling of it. I pointed out that I feel this is a personal affront as o could have been faced with the same ‘dilemma’ as D.C. and at no point did I ‘realise’ the rules were open to interpretation . I stated that I wanted my MP to consider joining his colleagues in publicly condemning D.C., especially as he is a growing influence in the Tory party (a vice chair). I reminded my MP (Andrew Bowie) that he has a fragile majority.

He replied to with a boilerplate copy paste of The transcript of DCs statement, and a reminded that the Scottish government advice is to stay at home.

He (Andrew Bowie) was getting chewed out my constituents on SM yesterday over his response, esp. as the neighbouring MP for Moray is the guy who has resigned his under secretary post over it.

I’ve never felt taken for such a mug in my life.
