I am a “fitness professional “
( as in its my job and livelihood )
To me it makes zero sense we plan to open shops and beauty salons around July 4th but not gyms and studios
Could we not just Set clear guidelines , no over 60s or those with underlying health conditions as Dubai , the USA and many other European countries have . Stay away if you are over 60 or have underlying health conditions . All these countries have opened their gyms and stidios with guidelines
These People should take ownership and responsibility for themselves
The WHO says 1 meter apart . Somehow the Tory government doubled that to 2 meters . . . .?
Why can’t we follow similar social distance guidelines to those for the reopening of shops and restaurants / pubs .
Some of us need to work
The owner of David Lyodd gyms has appealed to the government to show common sense
The nations mental health of its children and adults up to 60 needs to matter far more then they have shown us .
I went to the coast yesterday for a social distance dog walk with a Freind . What I saw was groups of older people clearly not living in the same household entirely floating social distance .
Unbelievably selfish
Yet our kids are denied school, parents unable to work
All teenagers I saw were bike riding 2 meters apart . Yet these selfish old sods were having a ball
I Couldn’t give a monkeys what mr Cummings did or didn’t do
It’s so irrelevant
He is a dad .i am a mum . We protect our kids first and foremost
I can’t believe its no 1 news story somebody needed child care when they were sick when our economy and our children’s futures are being so destroyed by a government sitting on the fence
It’s a hideous front by our government to refuse to take ownership and not protect the economy and mental health of the majority of the population
