I have anxiety and over reacted to a cough caused by my acid reflux. Ordered a home testing kit.

What happens if I don't use it? Will I get into trouble?

What do you think??
No of course not
Not unless you are required to for some reason

justhereforthetips · 26/05/2020 17:05

Why would you get into trouble?

VelveteenBunni · 26/05/2020 17:05

I'm not an essential worker or anything. I'm just checking as I said I have anxiety and I tend to catastrophise

I have no idea. I'm just really worried. I need a social distanced slap 😂

I'd probably do it out of interest tbh but you don't have to.

Realitea · 26/05/2020 17:16

I’d do it anyway too

HotWatBot · 26/05/2020 21:36

I'd keep it in case I needed it in the future.

DamitJanet · 26/05/2020 22:21

You’ll be fine. It’ll be included in the governments ‘tests done’ numbers though Hmm

gamerchick · 26/05/2020 22:30

Its time sensitive so bin it if you're not going to use it. You can't keep it 'until some point in the future'

You have it now, it's not the most nicest of experiences. But it doesnt take long.

palacegirl77 · 26/05/2020 22:35

Government suspended all tests - so you cant do it anyway.

Drivingdownthe101 · 26/05/2020 22:37

Government suspended all tests

Have they?

Drivingdownthe101 · 26/05/2020 22:38

That article refers to antibody tests. Ones that you pay for.
An entirely different thing to the antigen test that you are sent if you report symptoms.

Wankerchief · 26/05/2020 22:38

Why are they not testing anymore?

gamerchick · 26/05/2020 22:39

Those are totally different tests.

Drivingdownthe101 · 26/05/2020 22:39

They are, Wankerchief. A PP has misunderstood a Daily Mail article.
