The rules don’t apply to sis. She moved down to London last year for work. When lockdown began, her BF moved down with her for a few weeks and then moved back home. Since then, she was furloughed and moved back to home county to stay with a friend and her partner. She’s due back to work next week, and has come to stay with DM for a few days before going back to London.
My DS has been really struggling in the last few weeks and DM and I have been talking about her having him again regularly, as she used to have him several times a week and he’s really missing time with his Gran, as they are usually very close. When lockdown began, we had a discussion about childcare and it was decided that I wouldn’t depend on her during the pandemic. She’s recently said that she misses having him and we were going to put things in place for after half term (ie Monday).
Now she has sis staying until the end of this week who seems to be meeting up with different friends every day, as well as visiting neighbours who are not social distancing. Several family members are “cross” about the situation, but DM has allowed her to stay, and the damage is done now.
My question is, how long will it be until DM is “safe” to have DS? Is 2 weeks enough?
