No Dominic I don't think it was reasonable.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:25

david allen green
@davidallengreen
The wording too convoluted, the explanations far too tidy, an account reverse-engineered to explain away all available evidence.

janet1267 · 25/05/2020 17:25

I think he's bullshitting. I think his wife wrote a load of bullshit. I think he's clever but not likeable.

But I now think it's time to move on. There are bigger issues to be addressed, like getting the country back up and running.

effingterrified · 25/05/2020 17:25

GrimmsFairytales - Grin

StealthPolarBear · 25/05/2020 17:25

In fairness with a 4 year old if you time it with bedtime it's possible. We've done similar.

SouthWestmom · 25/05/2020 17:26

Special circumstances
Weighing up everything

Etc etc

I have four kids
Two are disabled
We both work
My mum is old

Is Dominic more special than me?

OP posts:
Roussette · 25/05/2020 17:26

He talks like he is a single parent to 5 children,

He has ONE little 4 year old FFS

I think I might pop to the coast tomorrow to test my eyes out, they're a bit wonky Grin

effingterrified · 25/05/2020 17:26

janet1267 - you move on dear.

The rest of us want this bullshitter gone.

effingterrified · 25/05/2020 17:27

Ha, she's got him. Well done Caitlin.

vera99 · 25/05/2020 17:27

The situation was complicated and I tried to minimise the risks to everyone. Except my parents and wider family and Barnard Castle residents and petrol station employees...

1forsorrow · 25/05/2020 17:27

Yes, I've put it on pause. I'll calm down and watch the rest later. I've been in the cardiac unit once, don't want to go again. He's not worth dying for is he.

DishingOutDone · 25/05/2020 17:27

Is Dominic more special than me? - well yes, he has parents with a nice farm in Durham. That's definitely special.

GrimmsFairytales · 25/05/2020 17:27

It's not a nice place to be...

Oh yeah private woods, family near by, no other neighbours, sounds fucking horrid.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 25/05/2020 17:27

But I now think it's time to move on. There are bigger issues to be addressed, like getting the country back up and running.

do you know what? I can abhor dangerous hypocrisy while simultaneously thinking about getting the country back up and running

dead clever me

itsgettingweird · 25/05/2020 17:27

Yes noeuf he is more special. You didn't have eye sight problems to need to test drive.

He's just insulted the whole of Durham. It's not a pretty place - it's concrete blocks.

greenlynx · 25/05/2020 17:27

Why didn’t he approach police if he’s worried about safety? Because it’s what he’s claiming.

ParkheadParadise · 25/05/2020 17:27

I've had too much to drink listening to this shite.
I wish the journalists would start singing
But I would walk 500 miles
And I would walk 500 more
Just to be the man who walks a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

StealthPolarBear · 25/05/2020 17:27

Noeuf but do you have instincts?

Roussette · 25/05/2020 17:28

There are bigger issues to be addressed, like getting the country back up and running

Yep. There are bigger issues. And that is why I'm incensed that this man won't just resign or Bojo sack him.

janet1267 · 25/05/2020 17:28

Effingterrified Don't tell me what to do. I think he should resign. But I think the story needs to end and we need to focus on moving on and getting our economy and lives back.

effingterrified · 25/05/2020 17:28

Durham has the 5th highest rate of coronavirus in the country.

How many people were put at risk or actually died as a direct result of Cummings' actions??

Cailleach1 · 25/05/2020 17:28

'safety to my child' again. So you engineer a situation where you have symptomatic people breathing droplets on your treasure in an enclosed space for hours on end in a drive across the country.

StealthPolarBear · 25/05/2020 17:29

Durham is a beautiful place did he really say that? At the moment with all the building going on the bits around the rive are a bit concretey

tootyfruitypickle · 25/05/2020 17:29

Love that question made me laugh out loud

Saucery · 25/05/2020 17:29

Oh ffs, he’s acting like he was ready to carry a grenade away from a city centre!

I would love the police to confirm threats to his house at that time. Or not.
