What do you think Nicola Sturgeon meant about early years opening over the summer?
Do you think she meant during the school summer holidays?
Do you think she meant between now and 11th August gradually as soon as they can make themselves safe?
Do you think she'll clarify a date next week?

I think she said early years centre's will be open but for keyworkers/vulnerable. I saw this the other day after her statement so no date for reopening yet.

I really hope it’s before 11th August as otherwise makes going back to work impossible.

They're already open for those kids. She made it sound like there was a change but wasn't clear what. Maybe they just don't know yet.
My nursery are just waiting for more info from care inspectorate on what measures they need to put in place and given a date.

I know, I'm wfh at the moment but it looks like I'll be expected back around July. I'm a key worker so can't be furloughed and can't get a nursery place as both dh and I can wfh at the moment.
So it will either be unpaid leave or hand in my notice, I'm also pregnant.

Such a difficult situation.

Should clarify dh will be able to continue wfh so still wouldn't get a place and he wouldn't be able to work full time and care for ds by himself. He's self employed so there's no leniency from clients.
