Hi, I’m new to this and just reaching out as I’m worrying and hope that hearing any similar experiences might help me to rationalise. My 12 yo son has had gastro symptoms since Sunday 17th. Started with severe vomiting and diarrhoea. His temp was burning the first night. since that the vomiting stopped completely and he had just been having this horrible yellow diarrhoea temp up and down . He’s keeping down lots of fluids and eating bits. He seemed all better yesterday at one point. Day 6 the temp has gone back to 39, still the diarrhoea and he’s really lethargic. I keep seeing and hearing about this gastric only COVID and even the 111 doctor suggested it. Still the advice is stay hydrated and manage at home. Has anyone else experienced similar? Is this normal gastric virus behaviour?
