Did anybody see it yesterday??

I missed it and really wanted to see what Boris had to say.

Is anyone able to give me a brief overview of how it went?

Matt Hancock tried to throw Starmer off by yelling “you spent 10m on a donkey sanctuary for your mum!” whilst he was cross-examining Boris. He was then told off by the Speaker who threatened to throw him out.

I wish I was making that up. That’s our Health Secretary that is. Sad

Boris also announced another unrealistic target that everyone assumes he will also fail to meet.

Yes only caught a very brief bit, main take away was Johnson get flustered/frustrated/cross because Starmer was a) trying to get him to answer questions and b) outperforming him by a mile.

Suggest you have a look at news sources for a proper review as you won't get a balanced one on MN. Boris was far better than he was the last couple of times against Keir and most commentators I read were saying Boris had won (whatever that means!) but I think it was a draw! Boris said track and trace would definitely be in place by 1 June.
The Matt Hancock thing mentioned above also happened, I think he is losing it from lack of sleep! You'll probably we able to find it on the iplayer under BBC news if you really wanted to see all the detail.

You can watch it here and form your own conclusions:

Keir Starmer is good as he is an ex barrister so used to having people on the ropes! Most people would be concerned at having him across from you. I would be.
It's true though that if it were Boris or Matt Hancock who had bought his dad or family member a donkey sanctuary for millions it would be ' big hearted ' headlines ' isn't that lovely' type talk. With a picture of a happy donkey with a straw hat on (and the cost of the donkey ) on the mail website.
As it's a labour leader it's seen as' bad' to help donkeys.

I’m sorry - but this really made me laugh.
