What is the situation with physio?

I have done my back in (again) and would really like to see a physio. Is that allowed currently or does it need to be a medical emergency with a referral from my GP?

Maybe see a doctor first to examine you. A physio may not see you without a diagnosis.

Hi, I am a physio (working private and NHS)
You can definitely get a GP referral and the clinics should be open to see you. Private wise we have written a risk assessment with regards the clinic being open and safe. I am speaking to patients on the phone and then assessing if they would benefit from coming in. If so then I check they are symtom free, don the PPE and off we go!
So the short answer is yes but maybe check with your physio! Good luck x

Iwannabeadog Thanks! That is really helpful. It's the same thing I do about once every year or two and I have no idea how to stop it happening. I have been doing Pilates for the last 12 months but it doesn't seem to have helped at all. I have two small but very active DC to look after and I can hardly walk.
