Shielding letter from GP

I finished cancer treatment 3 years ago and am fine and at work albeit part time . I thought this category only applied to people undergoing treatment which I am not Confused

I think it might depend on the cancer

Are you still on any form of follow up? Because if so, can you ring the unit (maybe speak to a Macmillan nurse of similar) to find out if you really should be in the ‘shield’ category. or if isolation, or if distancing would be suitable alternatives
