What happened in Russia?

I kept looking for Russia on the map gisanddata.maps.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6 and finding a small number of cases. Suddenly they are number two in the world for cases and still a lower number of deaths.

Did they get it late and all at once or are their numbers fudged? And 50% in Moscow looks like so is it another NY?

There is reportedly a huge strain on doctors and nurses during the pandemic, and 3 doctors have 'fallen from windows' after they complained about the lack of PPE. abcnews.go.com/Health/wireStory/russian-doctors-dead-icu-mysterious-accidents-70529268 . But I'm not sure in regards to what is happening with the death rate, presumably a large number of infections would equal a higher number of deaths than reported

Without wishing to be discourteous I would respectfully suggest that Russia and China are using the same methodology for counting cases and fatalities

It does seem strange that a country like Canada has less than a third and the cases and twice the fatalities.

And in an echo of the Good Old Days Back In The USSR when most tower block fires were caused by faulty electrical goods, mostly TVs, there have been at least two hospital fires caused by exploding ventilators. Russian craftsmanship at its best.
