Fantastic news to wake up to this morning.

The antibody test has been approved in the UK, it is a 100% accurate and will be rolled out 'within weeks'.

This will be a game changer for the whole country, I can not wait to have one (very ill in February) will you be taking one?
Is this how we are going to get back on track? Combine with the track and trace app and we may just have a coherent science based route back to normality.

Thank you for the background Ponoka7 . That’s a different context now!
You know, I’d be happy with them if they’d just turn around and say ‘we haven’t got a clue what we’re doing at the moment, give us a week to figure it out properly then we’ll come up with a plan’ as regards any kind of testing.
There’s too much noise. Let the scientists be scientists and get a team of contractors top notch strategists and procurement specialists , coordinators from somewhere like the army or a big company, pay them £10k, 50k/ day whatever they ask for to stay awake for a whole week and work out a solid plan with options to change it as the situation evolves. No media, no ministers, nothing.

Well, we might not need them afterall. Very exciting news coming from the Sorento Lab in California, a 100% successful treatment which blocks covid within 4 days. Definitely tested, definitely working.
Hip hip hooray and pray they get this out and working pronto.

Really? That would be amazing. I just don’t believe anything at the minute though.

I have just got one of the Abbott ones but have to send the sample back the same day from a certain PO Box...not sure if will work though as it is tricky sometimes to get enough blood for these tests. Need to keep well hydrated and try first thing in the morning - send by lunchtime.

@LadyofTheManners

You missed out the words "claims" "might" "pre-clinical" and "trials."
