Supporting my hair saloon

I go to a small hair saloon every few weeks and obviously they have shut.

I had a brief text exchange with them and they offered to do my hair with them wearing a face shield and a mask. I'm not yet desperate to get my hair cut and could still wait, but would do it if I knew they struggled.

But I don't know. Technically they are still covered by the gov scheme for the self employed. Any hair stylists here with some insight?

They can't work at the moment, they aren't allowed.

They will probably be getting help from the government but you could always buy a voucher now to use when they reopen again? My salon are doing that to help them get through these tough times.

Thats right they aren't allowed to open at the moment.

Some should ask Nicola Sturgeon if shes either breaking the rules, or if her husband is a hairdresser theres no way she hasn't seen a hair dresser since all this kicked off
