28 weeks pregnant. Scan and consultant app this week. Husband working away. 1 year old. Do I cancel the appointment, as he isn't even allowed into the waiting room (understandable), or ask my mum to mind him for a few hours? Or try to find a childminder who might look after him for a few hours (nursery is shut) as that according to the 50page document is allowed?

Is 1yo definitely not allowed in with you? There must be people who have no other option but to bring their children?

I asked when they called to check I was CV symptom free. No family, children, or partners allowed in.

Ask your mum. This is a necessary medical appointment.
