Anyone know if radar keys still work?

My nephew is in a wheelchair and has asked me to take him out for the day next week- would need to use a disabled toilet if so.

If would depend on if the toilet has been locked by the toilet owner using the "normal" lock that most toilets have on the door in addition to the radar lock. This could be the case if the toilet are not being cleaned etc.

Not sure why they wouldn’t. Although, is it sensible to go on a day trip?

Llamapolice · 11/05/2020 19:03

Yes my DP uses them and they largely still work.

I'd be taking him to a beach where I know the public toilets are closed (assume they're not being cleaned) so I guess the disabled toilet would be locked too.

They will only work if toilets are open. There is no blanket rule.

I live in a 'popular tourist destination' on the coast. All our public conveniences are shut and there are no plans to reopen.

GinnyStrupac · 11/05/2020 19:16

All local loos near us are closed including disabled ones.

I live at a popular seaside down and the beach toilets are taped over and sign posted as closed.
