Why aren't people wearing the plastic face guards rather than masks? You can see peoples faces and they can be disinfected and reused. Especially in light of the fact that ppe is at a premium and stocks should be reserved for the nhs.

Because there are gaps around the sides of visors. They are there to prevent splashes but can’t stop you inhaling tiny droplets through your nose/mouth without a mask.
