Is the R rate published daily? If so, by whom?

If press briefings do disappear or reduce in frequency, will there be another way of learning what the R rate is each day? I know it’s not the only important factor in this horrendous situation but it is crucial to so much being debated and decided.

I don’t think it is. I’ve never seen it, anyhow.

They don't know what the current R rate is, and they do not yet have the testing and tracking in place to establish what is. It's not clear how they will know whether it has changed between now and June 1.
