How long for tests to come back?

Myself and DH went for tests on Thursday, website says 48 hours. Will it take longer due to the bank holiday?

I'm desperate to get back to work Monday if I can.

How long has everyone else's taken to get back?

Thanks Smile

@BammBamm just curious as to what part of the country you are and whether that may make a difference to timescales?

I'm on day 6 now. Tested at 9 am on Sunday 3rd. When I phoned the helpline they said the timescale had moved to 7-10 days.

Fluffymulletstyle · 09/05/2020 15:07

I'm also on day 6 waiting.

Lougle · 09/05/2020 16:03

I'm relieved that someone else is still waiting.

Of the people I know:
Residents and staff in care home, so key workers, tested over a week ago, told 10 days as not a priority.
Relative who is also a key worker, tested 7 days ago today, told up to 10 days as not a priority.

Seems to be a theme.
