Covid Toe Concerns

Hi, just one of my toes has gone bright red, shiny and feels sore. My DH also has had typical corona symptoms - cough, breathlessness and fever for the past 5 days. He is starting to feel better now though.
If my toe thing is covid toe how dangerous is it? I read that it’s caused by micro blood clots? Surely blood clots = very bad. Thanks for any advice.

Reading about it more the past hour it seems young people get covid toes and I thought we were told they were the group least likely to die. So now confused.

I had them - or something that looked like Covid toes. Never had a test so will never know. if it was Covid, it was m only symptom.

I read somewhere that they often appear in otherwise asymptomatic patients...

So I assume when it says online they are because they are down to tiny blood clots that’s wrong? That’s reassuring.

I’ve had a similar toe thing but thought it was just something to do with wearing my slippers for longer and getting colder when sat working from home instead of a tropical office.

DH a key worker but no one in household has had any symptoms.
