Hi,

Has anyone returned to work after having symptoms...whether or not you have tested positive o negative or not had a test at all?

The general advice is that you're not infectious 7 days after your symptoms started AND have had a normal temp for two days. That's what we're following at work (NHS)

7 days is insane.
DH was infected by someone coming back to work after 14 days off (but still full of symptoms) - which is his employer’s policy,
He’s having 14 days off despite a negative test, there’s little doubt he’s had it, the covid team and A+E certainly thought so.

I returned to work 3 weeks after first having symptoms.

Not tested for covid but I did have to go get checked out in hospital at one point and they said my symptoms/results of other tests were consistent with the virus.

The 3 weeks was my employers decision. I kept him up to date with how my symptoms were progressing/reducing and he made the decision.
