Has anyone experienced a sore throat with white spots as part of coronavirus?

Just asking. Not for me.

The white spots would likely mean tonsilitis wouldn't they? Just a guess.

My son had a horrendous sore throat with covid but no white spots.

I had a sore throat, tight chest, mild breathlessness, night sweats, dizziness, headache, funny taste in mouth and diarrhoea. I haven't been tested so don't know if it was covid19 but I read up and it seems sore throats are a common symptom.

If it helps I've tested negative but today marks 3 weeks with a sore throat. Its driving me crazy. White spots does sound more like tonsillitis.

White spots sound like tonsillitis.

If you didn't have a cold or any sniffles before hand contact your GP as it is likely to be bacterial rather than viral.

White spots usually indicate tonsillitis and prob require antibiotics. You should call your GP
