Chris Whitty is the main gov advisor and a Prof of Gresham College. This is a very detailed lecture but also very clear for non medics.

Lots of information about Covid-19, other pandemics and what you can do to mitigate the chances of getting it.

Absolutely agree OP. Much more useful than endless hours of so called journalists asking each other the same old questions and not listening to the answers.
