My eyes hurt

A few days ago I had a scratchy throat and tiredness which is ongoing and today I woke aching all over, extremely fatigued with a headache and have spent half the day asleep. Late afternoon I've had some nausea and diziness, my nose has started running and I have a slight fever and mild cough. My eyes have also been sore on and off. I have a doctor's appointment on Monday and will ask to be tested but have many others had the eye thing? It's not allergies, no itchiness or watering, just sore and feel strange. I hope it's just a virus, I really do.

Are you certain it's not hay fever, mine has been flaring up due to tree pollen.

Have you tried taking an antihistamine and seeing if you feel better?

Percivalthebabyspider · 02/05/2020 14:10

Yes I'm sure, I do get hay fever every year but it's the wrong season here and and it doesn't feel like that at all. I'm sorry you get it also, hay fever can be awful!

Have you gone online to complete the 111 checker?
Advice is not to go to doctors if you have symptoms of CV.

Percivalthebabyspider · 02/05/2020 23:25

Yes I've done the online tester and will speak to the doctor over the phone.

Still feeling off, hot and cold, achey, tight chest and scratchy throat.

Following I started with sore throat yesterday, been having chills, shivery on and off no temp! coughing on and off, eyes feel weird like burning strange feeling hard to describe not watery I don’t suffer from allergy, can swallow ok but throat feels strange and have red streaks on tonsils and back of throat, fatigue

@Percivalthebabyspider I dont wish to worry you but that does sound quite a lot like COVID to me. Hopefully you'll have a mild case. Just treat the symptoms as they occur, speak to a doctor/111, drink plenty and rest.

A cold flannel/ice packs can really help w the eyes.

Percivalthebabyspider · 02/05/2020 23:42

Thanks, I didn't think of the cold pack, I'll try it!
