Checking temperature

Some of the measures that maybe announced on Monday is you will have to check your temperature before use public transport or allowed into schools, not sure how this would work?

What do you mean you don’t know how it would work?

People would check temperature with a thermometer at home before going in the train to work or sending little Johnny to school.
If your temperature is high (37.8 I believe) it can be a symptom of Covid 19 so you would isolate as needed.

The vast majority would follow that rule at that wold keep infection down.

You know like with lockdown how not everyone has complied but the majority have and by doing so the good people have protected our nhs and it’s not been over loaded. The good people have out weighed the arseholes

So you think it’s a good idea to help end lockdown? How would they know if people are being truthful, random checks? What if, as I am you are going through the menopause and you have a hot flush, would that effect the results?

No hot flushes don’t affect your core temperature.

If people still send little Johnny to school before the 48 hours is up after d&v we've got no hope of people doing as they are asked with this

At work, we have been checking our temperatures before and after work. Have done for a month, work in a care home.

I think it’s a good idea if implemented correctly, I don’t know why they didn’t do it before lockdown. I’ve just ordered mine and my mask ready for when I can go back to work.
