Furlough payment

So h got some money via the scheme from his employer. It is a lot less than we expected. We went on the government calculator and this confirms that we are right. But the company insists they are right. Any ideas of what we can do? If anything?!

Messaging them and asking for the calculations would be the 1st thing I would do. Then you can see from there where it has gone wrong.

Dh got more than expected. His company say its done on last years p60 (he worked lots of overtime last year)

What does pay slip say? Ask for an explanation. 80% of basic is 80%

Have they missed off commission? Have they based it on his average wage? Did he do a lot of overtime? Your best bet is to raise it with his employer and see what they used in the calcs?

They have taken his basic payment x weeks (he is weekly) divided it by 62 then times by 23 then taken tax and NI
