Do you think they’ll be classed as an essential and be on the list of things to open first ? I know no one knows but I’m waiting to move🤞🏼 and would like to hear others opinions.

The Government just published guidance that moves for HA should be limited to essential moves only at the moment so unfortunately if you don't fit in those categories you may have to wait until social distancing eases off.

Ps they are open by the way, just staff mainly WFH trying to keep going as best they can.

Hi,

I work in Social Housing. We are open and providing most services but above posters are correct, people are currently not moving.
What kind of move are you waiting for? A mutual exchange or to be allocated housing?

Inferiorbeing · 30/04/2020 18:56

I hope so as my neighbours were due to move and they are seriously pissing me off

Sorry didn’t explain very well, I know they are open on emergency basis. They have said cannot move me untill the lockdown is lifted. I was just hoping the gov would say next week that some essential things could open an housing association would be one of them ! It’s not a mutual exchange it’s a new property @GotAnyGrapes17
