Yesterday I saw a man wearing plastic gloves, carrying a pharmacy bag, with his mask pulled down to his chin... eating an apple. For good measure, he used the heel of a glove to push his glasses up. Wouldn't want apple juice on them.
Today DH saw, not for the first time, a family nicely distanced from everyone in the park. The woman and girl had masks on, the man and boy didn't. They were at least 10m from anybody at the time, though later by the gate nearer people he saw them again, same mask coverage.
Using kit to protect ourselves is great, but what are these people thinking? Cross-contamination happens even if fruit is good for you. Breathe fresh air away from people. It's not helpful to make efforts to protect only two family members.
