Hearing today that testing is to be offered soon to in -patients (among others) whether symptomatic or not, am I being unreasonable in thinking that regular testing should also be offered to those people who have to attend hospital regularly, for treatment?
I'm thinking specifically of renal patients who attend for haemodyalisis 3 x weekly and where it would be devastating for Covid 19 to run amok in these settings.
Surely early detection so that dialysis in isolation can be arranged, would be beneficial?
There are other groups of patients too for whom this could apply.
