New strain in children?

Did anyone see the bbc update. It was cut off half way through discussion about young children presenting with different symptoms similar to Kawasaki syndrome? Can't find a thread in here or anything on bbc website Sad

Yes I read it op It's not a new strain, but possibly a rare side effect (but I think it's important that parents know about it, so thank you for posting)

Copied from bbc news:
NHS doctors have been warned to look out for a rare but dangerous reaction in children that may be linked to coronavirus infection...This includes "multi-system inflammation" with flu-like symptoms.
Some, but not all, tested positive for coronavirus.
It is unclear how many children have experienced the reaction, although the numbers will be low... Still on BBC news.

There is still a lot we don't know about the disease.

Ahh ok thanks. I wanted my son to know about it but if it's been reported about previously it's not a new scare. That's what I was worried about Daffodil
