There is one shop on the highstreet where I live that is open, all others are still closed. It has a 4 in at a time policy with everyone else queuing down the street whilst maintaining the obligatory 2m gap between each other. That is all fine and well but.......
What do people honestly think is going to happen when all the shops in the highstreet reopen if social distancing is to be the new norm?
It is going to be absolutely impossible. Winding queues of people outside each shop all intertwining with each other, all the while pedestrians walking inbetween them. You'll be more likely to catch something stood there for an absolute age breathing in everyones air than you would quickly breezing past someone in a shop.
