Teenager putting on weight during lockdown

My 13 year old has really filled out over lockdown. She's never been skinny but was probably top end of healthy weight range. I'm guessing she's now tipped over into being slightly overweight.
I have been thinking it and tonight my husband mentioned he had thought the same.

I'm getting her to do a walk/bike ride with us each day and she's also joining in with me doing my exercise in the evening (I do Les Mills online).

I've noticed she's snacking alot whilst doing her school work and making herself huge portions of pasta etc at lunch.

I'm not sure what to do without making her feel really bad about herself. I want to tread carefully

The simple solution is to not buy snacks. Don’t let her do her own lunch, then you have better control. Tell her you n Ed to make sure there’s enough pasta for supper and she can’t just help herself.
Have lots of salad in the house.

Try not to have snacky type carbohydrates in the house.

Following as we’ve noticed the same. DS seems permanently to want snacks despite eating proper meals. I think some of it is utter boredom.
