COVID 19 result question?

Have been to drive though Covid testing yesterday after symptoms for around a week, and have received a text tonight saying result NOT CLEAR and to have a retest ASAP. Please has anybody had a similar result, and what could this mean ?

I haven't had a test but a similar result on a smear test usually means they didn't get a good enough sample

It sounds like the sample was contaminated, which is really annoying for you. Have they told you how to rebook?

I'd have thought that's fairly self explanatory! It means the result is unclear (and that could be for loads of reasons from the clinician dropping the sample, to a problem with the testing machine ...) Get a second test asap if you can, otherwise you might have recovered before they can test you and will.miss your chance.
