Children playing

We live in a small cal de sac. Yesterday nice day and all that. Kids playing happily in own gardens including mines. Later on when I looked out the window, two young girls aged 8 from different households were playing together with toys in one of the girls gardens. My sons then asking why he can’t play outside as the girls are playing together. We are sticking to the rules. One of the mothers have a cheek to clap on a Thursday!!

Do the fathers have the cheek to clap aswell?

I’m posting because the children shouldn’t be playing together. My children are seeing the two girls playing and want to play out in the street now.

I'm finding as time goes on I'm not getting as wound up at others flouting guidelines, especially kids. Note - we are doing all the right things in this household.

However if you're a parent who allows this then does the Thursday Clap your a bit of a hypocritical knob.

Whilst lockdown is shit kids in Spain have not been out of their homes, mainly flats, fullstop, for weeks.

I guess you never know what the whole story is. Lots of families are struggling, really struggling. This might have been the best idea and outcome.

Yes but why do a load if people with no relevance to your life or area need to know that? Have you had your head stuck in a bucket for two months to not know that there are millions of threads all over the internet about the same thing?
Isn’t this something you would just drop into a conversation with your Mum/ family / husband / friends?

Tell your kid that he can’t go out and play because you don’t want him to... voila. Case solved.
