Incase anyone would like to get a few, boots are selling 6 bottles of the 300ml carex hand gel for just over £20

Free delivery if you spend £30 so we've added some suncream to the order

Carex has a high alcohol content in their gels, 70%

No good for your hand bag though as it's a big bottle

Shopping, I’m not waiting till I’m home to wash my hands, also public transport etc (not that I’m using that personally)

PoloNeckKnickers · 27/04/2020 11:59

Thanks. Just ordered some. Can pass it on to family.

CrystalTipped · 27/04/2020 12:08

I'll leave it for key workers and people who need it, we're just at home. If you don't need it, please leave it for those who do!

circusintown · 27/04/2020 13:13

Dispatched!

BruceAndNosh · 27/04/2020 13:32

I'm using it when shopping. I've got a tiny 50ml bottle that I've been rationing.
Much prefer soap and water but outside the house that's difficult

BruceAndNosh · 30/04/2020 13:14

Ordered on Monday and arrived today which is a lot quicker than website said!

SeasonallySnowyPeasant · 30/04/2020 21:34

Mine arrived today. My neighbours (key workers) and parents now have some and the rest should keep us going for a goodly while.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 30/04/2020 22:06

I ordered Monday and got today. Will be taking into school as we are using a lot of it!

peoplepleaser1 · 03/05/2020 08:51

There are lots now available on Amazon but I don't recognise any of the brands so it's hard to wether I can trust them.

My DH is doing deliveries for work and my dad lives in flats with shared areas- he has to touch several fire doors and lift buttons to get in and out. So I'd like gel for them.

DontTellThemYourNamePike · 03/05/2020 11:06

You're right to be cautious @peoplepleaser1, I ordered some a few weeks ago from Savers, only to discover that it was only 40 percent alcohol. So it's ok as a normal antibacterial gel, but useless against viruses.
