Has the advice changed ?
It says , in case my upload fails, 'Do not go out, even to buy food or essentials. Stay at home to exercise ' . It's on Radio Times web site , each side of the schedule

I didn’t get the impression anything had changed to that severity from the briefing this afternoon.

That is, however, very clear! Confused

StrawberryJam200 · 25/04/2020 20:16

Do you think it means just Radio Times readers?Grin

The NHS advice keeps changing, and they don't tell us it's changed, so anything is possible!

However the above does seem a bit odd....

Fake news/spam type thing?

onalongsabbatical · 25/04/2020 20:18

Just went to RT website and got ads def targeted to me - stuff I've looked at etc - any chance it could be targeted to you? Are you in the shielding category?

Bagelsandbrie · 25/04/2020 20:18

Well that’s not the official line is it? Wonder where they have got that from...! No one will pay a blind bit of notice if they said that. Everyone would be jogging to Tesco for “essentials”.

walchesterweasel · 25/04/2020 20:53

Haven't had a letter but in the 'flu jab category so maybe targeted. It does strike a completely different tone though !

do not go out for food or essentials in other words stay at home, starve to death, and that will save everyone a lot of hassle....I mean it has merit Grin

Orangeblossom78 · 25/04/2020 21:01

Wonder if it could be targeted. Quite impressive if it is. Although a bit insensitive in a way, people shielding might not need that highlighted all the time e.g. when browsing online, sure they are quite aware of their status

Kez200 · 25/04/2020 21:03

Thats the rules if youve got symptoms isnt it?

StrawberryJam200 · 25/04/2020 22:59

@Kez200 yes but it doesn't say "if you've got symptoms". Maybe someone forgot to include that line....
