Hospital visiting

Please can anyone give me an indication of when we will be allowed to visit again under lockdown now that it's easing a little?

My son is very unwell and has been in hospital since Christmas, it's not Covid, although he did pick the infection up in the hospital

I work in hospital. Honestly....I think it will be a very long time. Way after lockdown ends. The transmission rate in hospitals is really high - social distancing is virtually impossible on wards. To add members of the public into that would be extremely irresponsible and certainly cause greater harm.

Are the ward helping you have contact with video calls etc? I'm so sorry this is happening to you x
