France back to school 11th May

Spoke to my friend and she said Primary schools are back on 11th May, maximum 15 pupils to a class and everyone to wear masks. I think she said pupils and teachers. Seems so soon. I was surprised.

It’s not all primary school classes, only year 6, reception and the 2 years before reception - not sure what those years are called in the UK. Then some more will go back on the 17th and others on the 25th. There was something on the news tonight about it not being compulsory to attend school, not sure if that’s been confirmed though.

Didnt have a long chat with her so should have confirmed details. That makes sense only sending back some of the years first.
