Tips Open

Hi, I've noticed several threads where people are talking about "when the tips open"
Ours opened again last Sunday and those in near boroughs did too.
We are NW, Greater Manchester.

Just thought i'd let you know to check your council website, yours could be open too.

The things that can provoke envy...
Just checked my website, looks like ones Lancashire are still shut. But we've been having all bins inc brown garden waste collected which is good!

Sorry Errol, I know that Wigan and Leigh are open in Lancs.
Just thought it worth mentioning as I went on for something else and found a statement.
maybe too much fly tipping round here.

They're in Greater Manchester. Even though I'm sure they're really still in Lancashire.
Definitely worth mentioning , hopefully some more will be opening up.

Rumbled. When I used to say Lancashire some people thought I meant Lancaster. I just got used to saying GManc.

Check if your tip is open, folks. We are not forward thinking or ground breaking up here. Yours might be open too.

I bet my county don't open theirs. They hate hate hate having to deal with waste. Constantly having "consultations" about reducing opening hours.

This is a heaven sent excuse for them. And they don't deal with fly-tipping, the district councils have to.

Closed in Suffolk.

Plymouth is closed, my rubble pile is growing and the neighbours are giving me the stink eye.

Salford have agreed to re-open some of the tips, they are putting a traffic management plan in place and will confirm soon.
