Tired and lethargic despite doing nothing. Anyone else?

Is anyone else feeling super lethargic despite not doing much?

I just feel so tired and hazy for absolutely nothing and I can’t shake it off...it’s almost the feeling you get when you’re woken up from halfway through your sleep and forced to start your day.

I am still working from home - 7 hours but flexible. I normally drag myself out of bed at 9.57am to start work at 10am. I get approx 9 hours sleep per night.

I am only leaving the house for a daily walk and a once per week supermarket shop so I don’t even think I have caught anything but I am just feeling so not like myself. Anyone else feeling the same?

In general if you do very little you’ll get more tired.

Doing exercise, working hard, getting out and about all give me more energy.

Is there a project/exercise goal you could challenge yourself to do during lockdown?

I was feeling like that op. I got my rowing machine out of the cupboard a few days ago and started a daily exercise routine. It's really helped.

I did start running and my running I mean waddling but I gave up very quickly. Maybe I should get back to it.

Ok operation move more is in operation!! I started lockdown so well and kept busy clearing and cleaning the whole apartment out but now that that’s done there’s literally no more housework to do...unless I somehow manage to get some painting stuff. It’s good to know that others have felt the same too and combated it by being more active. It’s a downward spiral I think. Feel tired, do less, feel even more tired. Repeat.

yeah doing nothing makes me feel worse

The things we do to try and save energy and make life easier (missing exercise, getting takeaways etc) just make it all so much harder in the long run

Energy begets energy. Start moving.
