Has my DS got CV?

My DS 14 who has ASD and ADHD has just told me that he has a "little chest pain". Is this CV??
If it is what should I do???
Would I be able to go work because I'm the deputy head at a primary and I'm supposed to be in every day???? I'm only off this week because the head teacher said I could have it off because we should have been going on a family holiday.
Sorry for all the questions but I'm just worried.

Does he have a high temperature and new, persistent cough?

If not then there's no need to self isolate. If he develops these symptoms, you need to follow the guidance on the NHS website and self isolate for 14 days.

You need to self isolate if he has a cough OR a fever.

My CV symptoms started with Chest Pain though (thought it was anxiety), and, chest pain should always be checked out. Can you speak to your GP?

@VioletCharlotte

No, he hasn't got a high temperature or persistent cough.

Does he get hay fever? Does piriton make any difference?

Mine started with chest pain. I never got a fever. I saw 3 Dr's all of whom thought it was Covid. Its your call but the cough/temp are not the only symptoms. Dr said that loss of smell was more common than a temp, and that chest pain is one of the big warning signs.

You don't need to isolate unless he gets a cough or temperature. Wait and see what happens.
