Ridiculous lockdown arguments

My teenagers (15-18), stuck at home with me and missing their friends, have just had a monster screaming row about the last piece of pork. Two of them did concede, half way through it, that they hated pork, and didn't want it anyway. But they just didn't want DC1 (who was desperate for a piece that wasn't officially His Share, as this would be a sibling triumph) to have it. They said they would rather have it and bin it than let DC1 have it.

Any other ridiculous lockdown arguments anyone would care to share?

Shock Grin. Blimey. Mine are younger but, yeah, will argue over a toy just because the other one was playing with it. Fresh air is the answer. Send them all out for a run.

Your kids sound really immature OP. If you'd said they were 5 and 8 it would have made more sense

Ds 16 and ds 17 are in a strop because I won't let them give ds 11 a bald hair cut!!

Wow. I'd have just let the one that wanted it, have it and told the others to grow the fuck up.

Nice kids. Confused

It must be difficult having so many teens separated from friends trying to get along for so long. I think parents with younger kids just don't realise what they have in store!

My DH and I argued over raspberries last week because I felt he had eaten too many!

My friend and her DH fell out a few weeks ago because he wasn't clapping loudly enough for the NHS!

DP and I fell out last week because he wanted to open two packs of biscuits for the kids lunch and I wanted to ration them and only give them one pack.... x

I've banned bacon in the house. My 15 year old seems to resource guard it like a dog.

I don't think it needs lockdown to have ridiculous arguments. These threads happen often

I think I should perhaps have added the blasted disclaimer "lighthearted". Sorry. I have been here for so long that I thought people might realise without being told.
