Difference with having a partner home

DH was away Jan - March.

A couple of days after lockdown he was home for 3 weeks. He went away again Tuesday.

To me (I realise everyone is different) the difference between him being here and not was major.

I was just thinking which camp people fall in could really affect their mental health.

When he was home -
He cooked all meals
The kids eat all meals
Went to the shop
Kids behaved better
Kids went to sleep earlier
He took the kids for a walk
He didn't wash his hands once he's been out
I didn't feel as lonely (he did work in his laptop a lot or watch films upstairs though)
If the kids or I had an accident I'd feel calm
I suffer with anxiety and I'm
Autistic so having someone with me helps.
He's strict with the kids and they get upset a lot
My routine is messed up

Now he's away
I can't drive or leave the kids alone while I shop
I can't book a food delivery slot
I don't like leaving the house much to take the kids out
The kids go to sleep late
The kids don't do work
The kids argue more
The kids don't always eat what I cook
He can see what I've ordered online
I can watch what I want on tv
Less chance of us catching the virus without him coming in and out
We can't argue
I'm losing patience with the kids and would like 30 min or so alone time
I feel lonely

I'm never happy though 🙈🙈😂
